Jaclyn Zambrella
Personal Trainer
Jaclyn brings extensive experience to the Exercise Floor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Sacred Heart University, and proceeded to earn her Master of Science degree in exercise science and nutrition from there, as well. She is certified as a CPR/AED professional rescuer through the American Red Cross.
Her background includes a variety of work in the allied health field, including physical therapy clinics, cardiac rehabilitation centers, and personal training. Jaclyn has a wealth of experience working with diverse clientele. She is skilled at working with all age groups, helping children as young as five years old better understand good nutrition and accomplish training programs.
She is published in The Global Journal of Health and Physical Education Pedagogy, where she coauthored the article, “Effects of an Education and Physical Activity Program on Health and Physical Fitness Variables in Children.”
Jaclyn's expertise is working with special populations. Her training styles are specific to each individual. She incorporates a variety of modalities, including circuit training, to maintain progress and excitement.
Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, a good beach day, staying healthy, and being fit. Her three favorite sports to watch are football (New York Jets), baseball (New York Yankees), and hockey (NJ Devils). Her favorite treat: chocolate covered strawberries.
Jaclyn was introduced to this field after undergoing knee surgery at 14 years old. She is aware of setbacks and the strength and courage required to overcome them. Helping members transform their lives through fitness is her biggest inspiration.
