Maggie Faucera

Personal Trainer

Maggie FauceraEnergize yourself on the Exercise Floor with Maggie's customized training programs. She is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise; a Group Fitness instructor, and nutrition and wellness consultant, through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America; and an aquatic fitness professional through the Aquatic Exercise Association. Prior to her work here, she was part of the team at the Old Bridge location.

Maggie does not prefer any specific training style. She works closely with her clients to determine his/her best fitness methods. She enjoys bringing an element of fun to every workout to keep spirits high and members returning for more. With specific certification in aquatics, Maggie also offers her clients the opportunity to train in the Center's therapy pool.

Maggie loves to spend free time outside. Running is her favorite, but she is happy to participate in any outdoor sport. She thrives on physical activity, which feeds her stamina. Maggie loves homemade food; she bakes her own bread. Fun fact: She was born in Hungary.

Ready to inspire, Maggie keeps members dedicated to a healthier lifestyle.

What Maggie's Clients Say:

Over the past 20 years, I had four spinal surgeries, including three spinal fusions. I became sedentary, gained close to 70 pounds, and was barely capable of walking more than a block without terrible pain and weakness. My sense of balance was terrible; I fell several times. I met Maggie in November 2014. She explained my best option was to train in the pool. Maggie insisted we start slowly to build strength and stamina. She varied the workouts, and made them interesting and increasingly more challenging. Maggie encouraged me to work out on my own, in addition to working with her twice a week. My strength increased dramatically, my sense of balance is infinitely better, and I lost close to 45 pounds. Nine months later, I am able to walk farther and faster than I have in years. My ability to stand, and my balance, are much improved. Maggie made coming to the Center enjoyable, relaxing, and simultaneously effective. I enjoy myself immensely when at the Center, five or six times weekly. I consistently look forward to training with Maggie two hours a week.

I am a 61-year-old female who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease over a year ago. When I first joined the Center, I was intimidated by all the equipment and overwhelmed. I have been working periodically with Maggie for several month. We train in the water and on the Fitness Floor. Now, I walk in the Center like I own it. Maggie is an attentive, reliable, genuine, and thoughtful trainer. She helps her clients reach their goals. If they are not sure what those goals are, Maggie helps them figure it out. She researched Parkinson's disease to determine which exercises would be most effective for me. When I told her I wanted to do a boxing workout to help my Parkinson's, she made it happen. My sense of balance and self-confidence is improving. I am so glad I was lucky enough to start my experience at the Center with Maggie. She is my “trainer to the stars.”
